• Yogfolk is run by Erica Morton Magill — I am a writer, cultural anthropologist, Ashtangi-ish, and śavāsana scholar, with a Master’s degree centered on Yoga and Meditation. My curiosity lies at the intersection of the creative process, ritual, and embodied expression. I believe in the value of pen and paper and leave trails of napkin notes in my wake. Movement is my medicine. I think walnuts are an underrated snack and carry them in my pocket always.

  • Yogafolk is community of practitioners who come together to celebrate life’s rhythms. We are curious creatures living messy, fallible, human lives. We believe in a multidisciplinary approach to practice that weaves science, wonder, history, pop culture, philosophy, art and religious scholarship.

  • This is a global, growing community that takes root wherever you plant your feet, roll out your mat, set up your cushion, pluck your guitar strings, or pull out a notepad. Practice begins now. Together.
